Seb cannot help but speak about two-way prayer to close friends that are interested in such things. He finds it difficult to explain it and he mentioned to me (Leeloo here, Seb's little sister) that the easiest thing by far is simply to send folks to the website I've made that share examples of some of his own two-way prayer journaling. I suggested he get some calling cards made up with the website on it.
Seb took that to heart and reached out to his friend who is a layout artist (Farmer Fred from Photon Farms) and what you see here is the result of that interchange. The images can be freely used and distributed but we've also included a link to the actual Indesign .pdf that one could take to a print shop for more economical and professional results.
This site is very personal, but it is not at all private. Once Farmer Fred told Fr. Bill Wigmore (who runs the non-profit TwoWayPrayer.org) about Seb's Journal being online, this website went from a few hundred visits to over 11,000 in a matter of a few months. So, no... not private at all.
There seems to be a hunger for this type of prayer in general, and not just folks in recovery... though our teachers would not fail to mention that we are all addicted to something unhealthy in one way or another. The Church is a hospital after all and our Pastors insist that without exception (themselves included) we need healing in body and soul from many such things.
Anyway, if printing and distributing these cards helps even one more person connect with our Lord more deeply and find the healing love Jesus offers us, then it is worth sharing.
